BuildMac Limited was established in 2013 by owner operator Jarrod Macredie. Jarrod has been in the building trade since he was a teenager, he completed his apprenticeship locally here in Napier and is now a Licensed Building Practitioner and member of NZ Certified Builders.
Our Team
Jarrod is driven by a strong desire with a core focus to work together with clients to provide excellent service. His goal is to form a team of highly motivated builders, trusted subcontractors and talented architects to build quality homes in the bay.
Mel has spent about 17 years in business and corporate work from owning Small businesses to working in management for a large corporate IT firm in Sydney, Australia.
Family is a priority for Mel and she spends as much time as possible with her 4 children.

A qualified builder who has been there, seen that, Greg also has over over 20 years industry experience. He is precise, particular and accurate with all his work. Greg is passionate about his family and enjoys fishing and the outdoors.
Josh has recently completed his apprenticeship through EIT Hawkes Bay. He is an extremely switched on and enthusiastic young builder who loves his football. Josh started his career with Steed Construction and joined Buildmac early 2017 to further his experience.
Will has completed a certificate in Level 3 carpentry. Wills open minded approach to building finds him very easy to work with, helpful and personable. He enjoys being active and his love of playing Touch and Rugby keep him physically fit
