Layer 2: Mirror and Vanity Lighting

Layer 5: Night Lighting
The bathroom can feel uncomfortably bright when used during the night.
Low-level lighting provides enough visibility without fully waking the user or flooding nearby bedrooms with light.

A dimmable vanity light

A small wall light
A separate low-output ceiling circuit
Sensor-controlled lighting
Keep nighttime controls simple
The user should not need to remember a complicated sequence of switches.
